Liverpool Draw Man Utd In FA Cup

Both Liverpool and Mancester United got the draw neither of them wanted when they were drawn together in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The two rivals, who have won the trophy 17 times between them were paired together in the draw for the final 16.

League One sides Brentford and Colchester were both rewarded with Premiership ties.

Brentford will make the short trip to Charlton, while Colchester face a difficult but lucrative away tie at the winners of the Everton and Chelsea replay.

Colchester boss Phil Parkinson was delighted with the draw.

“I’m very pleased. I think everyone at the club deserves it. It’s fantastic news,” he said.

“This will pay the wage bill for the whole of the season - it means a lot to a club like us.”
