Robinson “I’m Here For World Cup”
Under-fire England coach Andy Robinson has again said he wants to take the world-champions to France in 2007 to defend the Rugby World Cup.
Pressure is mounting on Robinson after England poor performance in the Six Nations for the second year in a row.
“I have a contract and I intend to honour it,” he said.
“I believe England are going in the right direction. Until I’m told otherwise, I’m the England coach, end of story.”
“There is a full review going on. There will be a lot of soul searching from everyone, and we will make it clear where we are going after that.”
England, who lost at Twickenham to Ireland on Saturday, have won just eight of the sixteen matches since Robinson took charge.
