Ninth Consecutive Win For United
Wayne Rooney and Ji-Sung Park scored as Manchester United beat Aresenal 2-0 to record their ninth successive win in the Premiership.
Rooney controlled Mikael Silvestre’s brilliant cross before shooting past Jens Lehmann and later crossed for Park to score from close range.
The result means Sir Alex Ferguson’s team move back to within seven points of Chelsea, who defeated West Ham 4-1.
Chelsea fought back from a goal down and the early dismissal of Maniche to claim a crushing victory over West Ham.
James Collins’ header gave West Ham the lead before Maniche saw red for a lunging tackle on Lionel Scaloni.
But Didier Drogba latched on to Frank Lampard’s pass to equalise and then set up Hernan Crespo for Chelsea’s second.
John Terry buried the rebound after William Gallas had hit the bar to make it 3-1 before Gallas found the net from close range to round off the scoring.

Liverpool racked up a fifth succsessive win when they beat Bolton 1-0 courtesy of rejuvenated Robbie Fowler.
