Tuesday’s Racing
There are three meetings on Tuesday afternoon with two more in the evening.
The pick of the action comes at Sandown, where the going is now heavy on the sprint course and soft on the round course.
The feature race is the Brigadier Gerrard Stakes at 7:50
Sir Michael Stoute’s improving four-year-old, Notnowcato , is likely to start favourite.
But it might be worth taking him on with the battle-hardened seven-year-old, Bandari , who won this race in 2004.
Later on the card, John Dunlop’s Senor Dali is fancied to lose his maiden tag.
The danger could be Stoute’s un-raced three-year-old, Greek Well .
The going at Chepstow is now soft after a dry night.
Tony Carroll has booked smart five-pound claimer James Doyle to ride Cerulean Rose in the 3:00 and Endless Summer in the 3:30 - both should go close.
Leicester is now good to soft - Jamie Spencer rides two horses bidding to complete a four-timer, Bollin Derek in the 3:20 and Red Evie in the 3:50
Redcar is now good, good to firm in places, while the going for the evening jumps card at Hexham remains good.
