Today’s Racing

There are six meetings today. In the afternoon Newmarket (2.10), Redcar (2.20), Ayr (2.25) and Ascot (2.30). This evening their are cards at Lingfield (6.30) and Wolverhampton (6.45).

At Newmarket the going is good and in the opening race it’s hard to get away from Cactus King who drops in class and will take all the beating.

Redcar’s going is firm. There are only five runners in the fairly competitive 3.35 but Go Tech will have course specialist David allen on board and is taken to run out the winner.

At Ayr the ground is good and in the 5 furlong dash of the 5.05 Highland Song has all the ability and despite a poor finish last time out is taken to spring a surprise on likely favourite Dulce Sueno.

Ascot is good to firm and in the 4.55 Glistening could also spring a surprise for former stablemate Thunder Rock who has Keiron Fallon on board.

Tonight at Lingfield the going is standard and it may be an unadventerous selection but Champage Shadow should be popping the cork in the 8.30.

And finally at warwick where the ground is firm on a day that should suit the favourites Invincible Force should prove to be just that in the 7.15.
