Today’s Racing
Six meetings today: Ascot (2.00), York (2.10), Newcastle (2.25) and Nottingham (2.30). Tonight we have Lingfield (6.00) and Salisbury (6.10).
The going is good to firm on every course today and standard at Lingfield.
In the 3.10 at Ascot Indian Ink has as good a chance as any.
The 2.40 at York should be a cracking race with several in with a chance and Rose Bien just gets the nod with Openide looking like a good each way shot.
In the 5.05 at Newcastle Master Nimbus could well surprise likely favourites Ruby Legend and House Martin.
At Nottingham in the 3.00 it looks to be between River Kirov and Namu. Namu gets the vote.
Tonight at Lingfield favourite backers should be able to rely on Averticus, though at a skinny price.
Finally at Salisbury there has been a market move for St Phillip in the 6.40 which may prove significant in a race with little form to go by.
