Tiger Woods is out of the World Match Play Championship being held at Wentworth. He suffered defeat against fellow American, Shaun Micheel. The defeat which follows five recent major title successes seems uncharacteristic but was put down to some poor putting. But he was not alone in his poor showing as six of the top eight seeds left the tournament in the first round.
