Today’s racing comes from Fontwell (2.10), Perth (2.20) and Pontefract (2.30).

At Fontwell, the going is good to firm. In the 5.10 High Gear could prove to be a real challenge to likely favourite Giovanna.

Perth’s ground is soft.

Only five runners in the 5.20 but still a real puzzle to pick the winner. Thai Vango and Solid Silver will be the favourites so Wicklow Wanderer at around 4/1 and quarter the odds could prove a reasonable each way shot, or a nice place bet for those into place betting only.

At Pontefract the going is good and there has been money for both Capiannia and Fiumicino in the 3.00. Non runners are making it hard to really judge what’s going on but if Fiumicino can be had for around 8/1 it looks a good each way pick.
